| Hola, mis amigos. Voy a salir a Yellowstone, Mt.
For those of you who do speak those languages, feel free to correct me. I’m only a novice, you know… Also, as you can see, my French vocabulary is a little more extensive than my Spanish…hehe. And for those of you who don’t speak either, here’s a translation. I’m leaving tomorrow with my family for Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and Mount Rushmore. Should be fun, although the fifty-some hours in the car may slightly detract from the overall pleasure. I’ll see you all in two weeks!

| *edit* I suppose I ought to clear things up here. For 4th of July weekend, we went to visit relatives in Iowa. As you may or may not know, in Iowa there really isn't much but corn and soybeans. So I drove around on a road in a soybean field. And I'm very proud to say that I did not crush a single soybean plant. =) *end edit*
Some things I've learned recently:
- Driving is hard.
- My mom is afraid of big concrete things. I am too.
- It's difficult to drive three different cars in your first three driving lessons.
And yet, amazingly enough, I haven't run into any of the aforementioned concrete things, or anything else. However, I also haven't driven anywhere besides an empty parking lot and a soybean field. =P

| I am now in possession of a lethal tool. I will now proceed to conquer the world.
Erm...I have my permit now. That's right, people--I now can legally drive. Watch out!
I haven't actually driven yet, but that will come. =) I think we have to talk to the insurance people or something.
In other news, I got back from Colorado safely. It was absolutely wonderful. Awesome scenery, beautiful foliage. We attempted to peak a 14,067 (ish) ft mountain, and made it to roughly 13,750 ft. We probably would have continued, if not for the fact that we had about one ounce of water per person. Oh well. The view was spectacular, even if we didn't quite make it. I'll try and post some pictures later. =)
| Aaand....I'm off to Colorado! For a week of traveling in a van with lots of other crazy teenagers, backpacking, white water rafting, and infrequent showers. Yay! Well, at least to all but the infrequent showers. =)
And my parents are back from England. They had a great time, and we all survived. And now my mom wants to travel all over the world. Not a bad idea, I dare say...

| Ha yeah. I'm fifteen now. Yay! I can get my permit!
Only problem is, I haven't studied the book. At all. And it's 112 pages long. Hmm...maybe you will have to wait a few weeks before I shock you all with my sweet driving skills. I really don't feel like studying right now. I just finished nine months of studying non-stop.
My parents are leaving tomorrow for England on my dad's work trip. I wonder if we'll be ok.... the last time my parents left us to go on a trip I got appendicitus. But that won't happen again, because thankfully I have no more appendixes. (Or would you say that appendices? lol...) But I think we'll be fine. =)
